Welcome to the Cincinnati Young Artists!

Our mission is to provide an opportunity for the nation’s talented pre-professional and young professional musicians to improve their ensemble and performance skills through intensive festivals, master classes, and concerts with internationally renowned faculty. The primary goal of Cincinnati Young Artists is to inspire and guide musicians in their technical and artistic growth. We aim to make a contribution to our society and culture in the form of classical music education and performance, by advancing the development of the next generation and nurturing the young person as a whole.

Virtual Audition Seminar

The Cincinnati Young Artists is pleased to offer the Virtual Audition Seminar. This 4 week program takes place in July and is for college-aged and pre-professional cellists looking to jump-start their preparation for orchestra auditions through weekly excerpt class, private lessons and mock auditions for members of Admissions at the New World Symphony and prominent conductors. Many orchestras had to postpone scheduled auditions due to the pandemic. Be ready when those auditions are rescheduled!
